Since the Elite Demon made comments about Goroshky, I wonder if he's a "perfect" Onmir in the sense he's the most adherent to the pre-established lore of this game world. When he was adventuring with Emily, if what Goroshky said was true, he didn't sleep nor eat while she slept. If he experimented with his item box and did stand guard, that means he's like a true Onmir from the lore.
In the later chapters, Emily, an Onmir Player, is shown to be fallible like the NPCs. She gets fatigued, she needs to rest, and she needs sustenance. Perhaps there's a difference in Onmir players depending on their skills and level? There's something about Goroshky; he seems to be in a different realm compared to his trapped peers.
That makes it scarier, since the Elite Demons are shown to be strong enough to corner him. Everything seems to be an uphill battle for survival
