  1. I love how atmospheric is the panel's. I feel like i already have this universe in my mind and just watch the event unfold as the chapters are released.
Thanks for the chap, the waiting is nothing but a cheap price for this treasure.

  2. It seems Emily's growth as a fighter doesn't stop at Goroshky's teachings; it seems she will learn from the Third Rank Master Jhon. Goroshky has already established upon his first encounter with Lord Brawl that a Third Rank Master is capable of killing the both of them. Onmir are powerful, but that was due to their blasé attitude as players, and the Onmir's resuscitative immortality explaining the in-lore explanation for their respawn method. Since this unnamed world is legitimate and every Onmir player is trapped as a permanent resident with mortality upon being killed, they have lost their edge as unaffected "players."

The edge that Onmirs like Goroshky and Emily need is a new understanding of this world and its residents, and their methodology of gaining power. From my analysis, Goroshky is exploring the concept of "Onmir" in relation to the inventory. On paper, an in-game inventory is nothing but code and generated space filled with items made from ones and zeroes, but since this is a real world now, the gamified elements now need a metaphysical explanation that work within the confines of this reality. Goroshky, with his study of dead Onmir bodies, seems dedicated to exploring these principles.

Emily is almost going down the exact same path as Goroshky, the pursuit of power, but she is utilizing the concept of "mana." As a player who primarily spec-ed into being a mage, she utilized mana the most for her play-style, but since reconstituting herself with assassin skills, she is now focusing on the combat application of it. This inspiration was due to Barry the Second Rank, a human who was able to channel mana through his body and funnel it into his sword. Emily seems to seek martial prowess like the humans she grew affectionate with overtime.

It's an interesting narrative pivot that makes sense; as people who used to be "players," learning the mechanics of a game to grow stronger is logical; it's only natural, it's what you're SUPPOSED to do, but seeing this simple concept applied to a reality that has severity is what makes this exceptionally interesting. Now all the discoveries and reactions from this world are no longer "game mechanics," they're hypotheses, theories and laws, which unlocks a new level of knowledge upon the learners who discover it. Because of that, this world possesses more depth and closer relation to the world we already live in: to study and learn, and to apply this newfound knowledge to survival is just another aspect of what it means to live. I'm very glad that the story is touching upon such depth; the author's skill - beyond their art - is also exemplified in their writing. I, and many others, will patiently wait for the next chapter. Thank you very much, Author, for the chapter and the world you created.
