I'm really loving the chapter, Author. The first thing I noticed are the dynamic perspectives: the aerial shot, the top down views, and the diverse angles on Emily.
The latest dungeon we saw also seems more demented than the last and the frightening imagery increased by several levels.
It's getting scarier seeing Goroshky avoid fights entirely when he notices how dangerous it is. The new world they live in is an entirely different game now.
It seems we are about to see a surviving city, and see the diverse humans who live there, and not only that, ones who've attained great power via mana if they're comparable to Dungeon Bosses. Well, only if they're Great Masters of Arms.
It seems most likely we'll see Third Rank Masters. I'm also loving the implication of Emily attaining greater power similar to Barry, through mana invocation. She looked so cute at the end of the chapter.
All in all, thank you for posting this chapter, I really enjoyed it. -RandomTeleporterOne

Man I found this series just a few hours ago and already I am in love. The feeling of this story is so unique, full of mystery and curiosity with the familiar and yet new world these characters find themselves in. The new things they have to learn and unlearn as what they played as a game is now their lives, and all the skills and things that were familiar now have a nuance that didn't exist before. The fear of death which would lead to ingenuity and innovation in using skills, NPC interactions, and game world knowledge. The NPCs turned living breathing beings, and the feelings the players have to navigate in dealing with their actions in the "game."
Another thing I am loving is the art and choreography for the fights, the slight differences with each characters style, and the way each fight is brutal. Each wound, each broken bone, each injury, every single one will lead to a disadvantage which would likely lead to death. And our resident undead, the way he fights as well, getting wounded without a care so long as he can still fight and move, using even his mouth as a weapon.
And now the possibility of learning things that weren't very fleshed out in the game, mana. In the world as a game the skills seemed to just happen when thought of or chanted at least from what I have seen so far. But if it is as nebulous as it is now with the NPCs no longer following the patterns set for them as well as non-human NPCs not following preset patterns either, as implied with the invasive species mentioned very early on, I wonder what can be done with mana. Maybe Emily could gain a new avenue for power, or maybe Goroshky could figure something out himself and possibly use magic himself. Maybe he could use magic to enhance his fighting or he could have Emily buff him or herself to aid in combat.
All I can say for now is that I am looking forward to new chapters and I am loving where the story is right now. Thank you for the chapter and story so far, keep up the good work. -One Laizee_SOB

Ohh the slow exploring of a new system or mix of sorts is always interesting, even if works they would need to experiment on what and how works with the way the are already used to combat, so getting new variables might help develop a completely new way of fighting and survival along the way. Seeing someone that is already strong figure out new strategies and develop a new combat style is always a pleasure.
Barry mention. My heart, man.
